The man who served God's purpose
Tribute from Nana Benneh
It all seems like a dream so hard to believe. I am still coming to terms with the fact that you are no longer with us. You will be dearly missed daddy. Words cannot describe the vacuum you have left in our hearts. I remember, it all began in Sunyani; where you embraced and accepted me into your family as one of your own. You became the father I never had. You also became my mentor and spiritual guide. You instilled the virtues of hard work, discipline, dedication and most importantly passion for the work of God in me. You were always there for me at all times and in all situations. For all that I am and for all that I have become, I am grateful to you and to God for letting our paths cross. Thank you daddy, my story would not have been complete without you. They say memories are golden and for me; the final time spent by your bedside- the songs we sang, your words of encouragement and your affectionate love for God, will always be precious to me.
Abena and Jenessa miss you dearly and they say thank you for your prayers, love and support. Abena says she will never forget her last conversation with you. Your playful game ( see -saw); which you always had with your grand children has become part and parcel of Jenessa’s life as she recounts it everyday. Distance, now keeps us apart, but daddy; you will always remain in our hearts. You filled a space that no one will ever replace.
Fare thee well, Daddy.
